Terms of Service

By utilizing our website or service, you accept the following Terms and Conditions which shall apply to every transaction that occurs between MyGoldMailer ("MGM") and you.


I. When mailing property to MGM, please utilize the mailer provided and send your parcel via a certified mailing method so that it may be tracked. MGM may refuse any parcel mailed to us, which may have been damaged or opened in-transit, or which we believe may have been tampered with. Such items will be sent back to you via the same carrier, and we will bear no responsibility for any losses incurred by you.


I. Should you use our provided scan-friendly mailer, your package will automatically be insured up to $500.

II. Should you decide to insure it for more than that, you may do so but you will be solely responsible for paying any additional fees incurred for coverage beyond $500.

III. Should you elect not to use our mailer, but instead use your own, you will need to purchase your own insurance. Be sure to purchase insurance to cover the retail value of your package. Should you then experience a loss, you will need to file a claim with that mail carrier.

IV. When mailing your gold submission kit (G-mailer) you may elect to purchase additional insurance above $500; however, you will be solely responsible for covering the extra fees.

V. In the normal course of business, MGM uses various third party mail service providers such as USPS (United States Postal Service) to tend to our mailing and delivery needs. Whether you mailed MGM a package will be derived solely from the data available via the tracking software applications of these mail service providers.

VI. Should you experience a loss after MGM has accepted receipt of your parcel, then MGM will reimburse you per the following guidelines. MGM will be responsible for the lesser of the following amounts:

  • 25% of the content’s value per a certified appraisal, which must be dated within 90 days from the date of loss. Please note that we maintain the right to seek a third party opinion on the validity of your appraisal.
  • The content’s market value or 50% of the content’s wholesale value

  • $500.00, as long as a certified appraisal is presented along with your claim. The appraisal must be dated within 90 days of the loss validating the content’s worth; otherwise, our reimbursements will be limited to $100 per loss claim. By mailing your parcels to us, you hereby accept the above terms and conditions as they pertain to MGM’s responsibility and loss limitations.

VII. You, your successors and assigns and any additional third parties bearing claim on your transaction with MGM shall be bound by these terms and conditions including, without limitation, the limitations of liability. You accept to not hold MGM liable for any loss or damages that may arise from third parties, such as your insurance carrier; nor will you endorse any claim of subrogation by third parties, such as your insurance carrier. By taking part in our service and initiating a transaction with MGM, you hereby waive all such subrogation claims on your and your third party’s behalf.

Hazardous Materials

I. In initiating a transaction with MGM, you also will abide by all postal regulations and not send any hazardous or dangerous materials within any of the mailers you send to us, which includes, but is not limited to the following harmful elements: Arsenic, Beryllium, Bismuth, Cadmium, Mercury, Nickel, Lead, Antimony, Selenium, Tin, and Tellurium.

MGM’s Guarantee

I. You acknowledge that you have taken the time to read the "Most Gold Money Guarantee" section of our website and you agree to the terms posted there which includes our policy regarding returns, which states: "If you are unhappy with the check amount you receive for your precious metals or for any other reason, simply call our toll-free customer service number and return the check so that it arrives in our offices within ten (10) days of the date that appears on the check." You acknowledge that if you do not contact us within the time period stated above your property may be unrecoverable. As standard policy, MGM keeps all submissions for 15 days after receipt; at which time the property is then forwarded to refining. If you should choose our “direct deposit” or “PayPal” method of payment, this guarantee becomes null and void.

Other Quotes

I. Should another national gold buyer with a televised advertising campaign quote you a higher amount for the same lot of precious metals which MGM has given you a quote on, be advised that we will reimburse you at double that dealer’s quoted amount. In order to be valid, that quote must have occurred 30 days before our payout to you and must be dated as such. We reserve the right to contact that dealer and to validate all details of the lot submitted to them for a quote to ensure it was the same lot of precious metals. Sending in Your Jewelry

I. Please note that MGM only deals in items which contain precious metals. Should you send us other items that do not contain precious metals they will not be returned UNLESS YOU SPECIFICALLY REQUEST THEM TO BE RETURNED SOLELY AT YOUR EXPENSE. We reserve the right to bill you $20 shipping and handling to return such items to you via COD.  II. Also take note that MGM does not buy gemstones – only precious metals; although we accept items containing precious gems and other stones, we are not in the business of recycling these items. If you plan to send in an item that contains a stone which you believe to be valuable, we strongly recommend removing the stone prior to sending it in to us. You agree to hold MGM harmless for any items sent to us containing gemstones, which are later refined.


I When items are received by MGM, they are brought to our refinery. Assessments are done as soon as possible, and when completed, a check is mailed within 24 hours of each assessment. Our refinery is in operation Monday through Friday, standard business hours, Should your item be received and assessed the day before a holiday, your check will go out as soon as possible, the next business day, following the holiday.

Terms and Conditions

I. You acknowledge and agree to all of the Terms and Conditions set forth herein, and you acknowledge that these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over all and any claims or causes of action which are brought forth by you against MGM. Should you elect to bring any actions against MGM under any other Jurisdiction; you will be responsible for covering any and all costs (including legal fees) that MGM may accrue in their defense. MGM’s inaction with respect to enforcing these terms and conditions is not to be construed in any way as a waiver of our right to do so at any time. MGM’s Terms and Conditions shall are valid unless we state otherwise, or make amendments to them, which we shall do so from time to time. Should any of our provisions in our Terms and conditions be found unenforceable by a court of law, this shall in no way effect the other provisions. Every attempt should be made however to interpret the unenforceable provisions in the light in which they were intended. Should you wish to file a claim against MGM with respect to our G-Mailer product, you agree to do so within 1 year of said transaction; otherwise, you agree to waive your right to such a claim.

II. In transacting business with MGM, you certify that all of the following are true: that the items you mail to us are indeed your own; and you have full rights to their ownership, to sell them and transfer ownership; and you know of no liens or claims of any type on the property to be mailed to us; and you have not obtained the property by way of any illegal activity; and you are an adult who is at least twenty-one years of age; and you are not engaging in any type of illegal transactions such as money laundering or terrorism which may cause MyGoldMailer to breach laws or regulations of the US or any other foreign country; and that that you have documentation proving that you are the rightful owner of the property which you submit to MyGoldMailer for sale at your own discretion (Please note that MyGoldMailer reserves the right to ask for such documentation at any time).

III. You acknowledge that you will not bring any actions against MGM regardless of any and all liability, suits, claims, costs, losses, costs and legal fees that may result from any and all any infractions (or claimed infractions) of the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, including any actions by third party entities. You agree to hold MGM harmless in all regards, including MGM’s lawful successors, assigns, and any third party partners, against any claims and actions.

IV. MGM reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions without prior notice to you. Should we make changes we will post a note as such on our website as well as send you an email when possible notifying you of such changes to our Terms and Conditions.
